The New 16 Mℓ Vryburg Wastewater Treatment Works (WWTW) is a much needed infrastructure upgrade for the town of Vryburg in the North West Province. OFC & Golder Associates were appointed for the Design & Implementation of the Project. OFC was also appointed the Project Manager for the Project.

OFC has been appointed to assist Exxaro Central Coal with the design and implementation of various environmental projects on their Forzando & Dorstfontein Mines in Mpumalanga since 2008. OFC did the master environmental planning for all 4 mines and is assisting with the implementation where projects are phased per mine on a yearly basis. The 2016 projects for the 4 mines totalled R18 Mil.

Black Mountain Mine (BMM) is situated in the arid and picturesque Bushmanland in the Northern Cape. OFC has completed numerous surface water management & closure costing projects for BMM since 2009. OFC has also assisted BMM with pre-feasibility studies for their Swartberg extension with detailed 2D flood modelling.

OFC has been extensively involved on Sishen Mine since 2008. OFC developed the rehabilitation strategy for the waste dumps in 2011 and has been implementing the rehabilitation and rehabilitation trials for the past 5 years. OFC did the closure costing and assessment for Sishen Mine as well as detailed 2D Flood Modelling for the opencast pit and on-surface infrastructure.
